Janer

Janer grew up chasing shade on Samūm’s scorching surface, raised by his adoptive grandfather. The day he turned up at the mountain monastery, he’d trecked alone 40 kilometers; navigating Samūm's labyrinthine tunnels and grottos to bring help back to his Jeddo. We attended Space Pilot Academy together and he was in my class year. He still laughs at my complaints about dry air because he lived through sandstorms I can barely imagine.
