Spaceport-adjacent hub city in the shadow of The Combs

Site of landing for the the original colony ship AlSahraa'. AlSahraa's engines were removed to begin hollowing out the Combs. Due to this proximity, Quoath grew up directly under the influence of the Combs, although there has always been a spirit of differentiation between the people who lived in the underground city and those who lived and worked at the Quoath space port and adjacent facilities.
Quoath nominally sided with the Combs during the water wars of the 2220s and 2230s; although recent scholarship has indicated many residents felt sympathy for their kindred surface dwellers. During the hijacking of the relief convoy from Ísreikistjarna, a destabilized asteroid pusher craft completely was severely damaged resulting in the giant ice cargo crashing violently into the Quoath city spaceport; destroying ships, landing craft and many residences in the upper levels of the underground city itself.
